First Choice Masonry is looking for an Operator
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Safe and efficient operation of forklift
• Transport, move, relocate, stack, load, and load unload construction material (including block, mortar, brick, scaffold) in a safe and timely manner.
• Identify and report faulty or damaged equipment and other safety concerns to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat and clean manner by performing preventive maintenance, recommending repairs, and performing routine preand post-inspections.
Education, Work Experience Requirements/Kills and Abilities:
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program • Must be 18 years or older and able to perform physical labor.
• Familiarity with material handling and ability to work in a construction environment.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines whiles maintaining a positive attitude.
• 3-5 years of construction experience
• OSHA compliance
• Operator’s License
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions. • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance. • Ability to navigate a construction environment.
