Clear Conscience: Dealing With Offenses Towards Others

Class description

In this lesson, we discuss the difficulty of dealing with personal convictions we experience in our life, confessing, and clearing one’s conscience. Situaetions involving the confession of moral failure need to be handled with prayer, wisdom, and godly counsel. It’s not easy, but you are not alone!

This discussion is from lesson 8 in the companion book Seeking Him: Experiencing the Joy of Personal Revival

Lesson Highlights

FIRST WE MUST CONFESS

Wash our heart of impurities and clear our conscience. Have no unconfessed sin between you and God or any other person.

REPAIR, RECONCILE, AND RELEASE

Revival and reconciliation go hand in hand.

Be Humble

If we have wronged another, we must humble ourselves and do whatever is required to gain a clear conscience with God and that person.

Keep That Same Energy

When trying to clear your conscience, match the scope of your confession to the scope of the offense.
